[RESOLVED] axle

I Have a 1991 tsi automatic with a bad front driver axle.
Will a 5speed awd axle work or does it have to be from a automatic?

Driver's side front axle is different between auto and MT. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Depends on the condition of the axle seal
