If you get the correct size filter it should just be a drop in installation. No other modifcations required.

nope you dont need anything else... remove old filter, put in new filter, take a drive :thumb:

Bolt-on

No electrical modifications are necessary for a filter upgrade.

The OP may be confused thinking that upgrading the filter includes removing the MAF. If the OP is referring to getting rid of the MAF they will need MAF-T or convert to speed density.

Filter Can Mods

^^^ do that. You really dont need that middle mounting bracket on the filter lid. A friend wanted me to do hers and I found it easier to just use the 2 side mounts. It takes you maybe 20 mins at the most to cut it up with a dremel tool and youre finished. Heres a pic of mine.

I rounded the sharp edges and corners off a bit and threw a coat of black paint on it after that pic was taken.
