So, after purchasing my 1995 some months ago I finally got around to checking the ECU to see if it EPROM and or already socketed with link. Unfortunately, it is a non EPROM ECU. That being said am I able to get a socketed EPROM ECU and install link and run it in my car?

I was under the impression that 1995's had the EPROM ECU or was most common for them. I have researched it and cannot really find info on this situation.

Solution
As mentioned the '95-'96 ECUs interchange and the EPROM and non-EPROM versions are also interchangeable (Functionally identical when stock). It looks like somebody already took advantage of that fact because that's a '96 ECU in your '95 car.

What's the build date of the car?
