okay folks spent the last hour looking through 20 pages without any help i REALLY need to know the location of the resistor pack on 2g turbo models i looked through http://members.shaw.ca/dsm.1000q/Engineprimer/2G/index.htm
and it only shows the location for the 1g and everytime someone asked that question in one of the posts i searched through no body would answer so lets get a answer up here please also what would be the proper procedure for testing them?

I know mine is below my cam gears on the intake. The 2g should be around that location, if not it is on the intake somewhere in that area.

your a 1g yours should be located on the firewall acording to this also the 2g are quite a bit different because i went and looked for it for at least 25min and cant find it anywhere. so someone please let me know where its at on a 2g

on the firewall down behind the intake manifold. its a metallic box with 5 wire exiting it. (if you did not already know)

ok there is either 4 black wires and 1 white wire or the other way around. there are two resistor packs in the box. with two resistors in each pack. each one is 6 ohms, but the resistors in each pack are connected in series, making them read 12ohms. in other words any of the two same colored wires connected to a ohm/volt meter should read close to 12 ohms. any of the same color wire and the odd color wire connected to meter will read 6ohms

i looked at your other forums and am thinking that your cam senser went bad. if you have good fuel pressure and good spark and your resistor pack test good it has to be the cam senser. for it is what tells the injectors when to pulse! let me know what you find.

They (the resistors) are not connected in series in use. There is one common power feed to all four. The other end runs to an injector, one per injector. So each injector is in series with a resistor in the pack.

Normally you would put one test lead on the common and then measure each of the other four wires resistance. As you note they should read 6 ohms each.
