Reseting An Afc-ii

so i installed a used S-AFC-II on my car, and when i try to view the settings, the thing says its LOCKED--- does anyone know how to reset the S-AFC entirely? thanks

If I remember correctly you can disconnect it where the harness on the AFC attaches to the extension harness that goes to the ecu. I'd leave it disconnected for a couple minutes and reconnect it and go from there. This might not work but worth a shot. If it doesnt give Apexi a call... good luck man.

Enter 0 strait across for the lock code most people dont enter a new code. They just lock it to keep there settings.

i tried to enter 0's straight across, it says password protected... i bought the unit and it was off the original car for a couple of months, disconnecting it didnt solve the problem... is there any way to reset the entire unit? a reset button or sequence i need to press? ... thanks

What if you left it all plugged in but disconnect the neg. battery wire. I know it resets the ECU and it might be worth a try???
