AFC II install

I have a NEW AFC II the newest style, I was wondering when I install it will I need to tune it. OR will it work without adjusting any of the trims. In other words just plugging it in and starting the car. I just wanted it to get it in the car so I can get it tuned with it.

as long as you have stock injectors leave the hi & lo tables at zero and make sure you select the right airflow sensor type. if youselected the wrong sensor type you can puff black smoke

If your car was running before the installation, it should be fine. If the settings are all zeroed, it will have no effect on the fuel delivery. You may have to do a couple setups, like setting it to Karman and selecting the # of cylinders.
