I have a few questions... my tsi started making a noice, and the mech said it was a rod and that's wot he left me with.. the question is, if i were to replace the interals in the block, what all am i gonna need.. im not the most mechanically inclinded person :/ i want know the pistons and rods, and the crank if there's scoring and cant be resurfaced.. Im also guessing there's some bearings and gasgets, but would know everything i'd need, and i don't wanna end up missing somethings to keep me from my tsi  . So i guess im asking for a soft of list of parts that i would need.. sorry for being such a noob :beatentodeath:

If you are going to have a machine shop either rebuild it for you or do the machine work they will be able to tell you what you are going to need to get, sometimes they will have it there, in order to finish the build.
