Replaced the HVAC, No fans.

I replaced my hvac with another one because it had white faces. Now my new one (from a 96 tsi) won't turn the fans on. I thought it was the connector so I put the one from the old hvac back in. Still nothing. Is there maybe a fuse for this? I couldn't find one.

The fuse is the 30 amp in the fuse box on the passenger side.

There is also a relay by the heater core behind the glove box.

However, I'd make sure they are all connected properly.

If nothing else works it may be the blower motor.

The ONLY one that turns on the blower motor is the fan speed control.

I don't know where the fuse box is on the passenger side is unless your talking about the one in the engine bay. Also in the picture in the FSM, it looks like the relay is on the driver's side.

Sorry I meant driver's side, it is called the passenger fuse box in most diagrams so thats where the typo came from.

Unless the 95 2g is different or someone modded theirs then the fuse is by the heater blower motor which is behind the glove box.

I know the 95 had some screwy things with it and its the only year of dsm I have found in the junkyard to pull parts off.
