I just got my throttle body back together and the leak is still there! I used the proper sized o rings. Does it really make a difference if it is the acutal seals from mitsu. I have heard that, but then I have heard o plenty of people using the orings with no problems.

I just did the same thing 2weeks ago. I used rubber orings, and they leaked, and made my throttle stick a little. I got the new seals from machv for 12 bucks, and they are sweet:thumb:Also make sure that the butterfly is perfectly lined up in the bore when you reassemble

Read the VFAQ on the how-to and all that gravy stuff. Just wanted to make sure; I'm probably going to be buying the Mach V TB seals as replacement in my leaky TB. With these seals do I still need to use the retaining clips in the TB or are they also a 1 piece direct replacement... just push in and reassemble?
