replace valves, or whole head?

Basically I'm a moron. Didn't have it timed right after i replaced a water pump and now i'm about 98 percent sure i bent a valve...it won't crank past TDC, hand or starter.

would it be easier/cheaper, or both, just to replace the whole head as it is???

Hmm. Usually the starter has enough power to bend valves. Maybe your battery is low? Anyway, first I would suggest you do a compression test to find out for sure. Then if you end up having to take the head off its really a matter of how bad things got damaged. It might be cheaper to find a used head or it might be cheaper to just fix the one you have. Wont know until you take it off and check it out first.
