Removing Water Pump Pully

Alright i am in the process of changing my timing belt and all the other belts on the car. i have just about got the cover off on the timing belt but the only thing thats holding me back is getting the water pump pully off... i have tried almost everything and i cannot get this thing off... 1/4 inch drive with a 14mm still wont fit behind there.... any tips on how to get this thing off... pleaes help.... THANKS! WTF

You have to use a wrench and on a 1G it's a 10mm... I dunno about 2G though.

jack the motor up ...it gives you better access(10mm wrench)

If you already have the other belts off, take the belt that belongs on there and have a friend pull on that while you losen the bolts. It shouldnt slip/spin if they put enough tension on it.
Also a wrench will do the trick to get them bolts off.

Hmmmm well maybe ive got my pully's confused becuase its a 14mm bolt and its almost impossible to get to... ive got the motor jacked up n all. Its the pully right behind the shock tower.

Is it blue or brown?

If so thats not a water pump pully thats your tensioner and idler pully.

Waterpump pulley bolts are 10mm on all the turbo motors I ever worked on ??

I think you are talking about the A/C tensioner pulley! Take off the bracket and leave the pulle on! Use your 12mm to get off the 2 bolts
