2G Removing TCU

How do you remove the TCU on 2g? There were four nuts holding it in place on the top, but the studs are sticking up in the bracket that holds it, making it impossible for me to remove it. How exactly do you get the TCU out? I have the plugs undone, and the 4 nuts out so far, that's it. Does it come out from the passenger side or driver side? What else must be removed to get it out? Thanks
