I don't know if the o2 sensor on galantvr4 and 2gs are diffrent(front o2 sensor wise)
I removed my friends o2 sensor off of his 2g but it seems like mine is harder to get on.

I have the o2 sensor removal tool I let it get hott and I hit it with pb blaster any more ideas?

When you remove an O2 sensor you should always work it out back and forth slowly. I personally hate O2 sensor sockets, my favorite tool to remove them is a 7/8 wrench, but I use a socket if I can't fit a wrench that big in there. Also, you should always remove an O2 sensor COLD to avoid ruining the threads. Buy an O2 sensor thread chaser if you mess up the threads.

Just keep at it, it's not much fun regardless. I've never heard of having to remove it at certain temps for cross threading. Ive taken mine out both cold and hot after a pull with no issues.

I always put a torch on the housing and get it as hot as I can, and it comes right out.

Use a little bit of anti-sieze on them and you won't have any problems in the future. (Just be sure to keep it away from the sensor portion).

for removal, Calan is dead on. make it glow and it will come right out. of course, this is the way to go when you dont want to reuse the sensor.
