I am trying to remove my 02 sensor on my 91 eagle talon.
Thursday I replaced my oil, fuel filter, air, spark plugs and wires and had my fel injectors flushed.
I cannot get the car to run a steady 6x rpm without the check engine light coming on.
I have one of those ####ing haynes repair manuals that tell me how to check it.
I CANNOT GET THE PLASTIC ATTACHMENT APART.
I have pulled it, tried a screw driver. Does anyone know the trick to detach my o2 sensor so I can test it?

Use a screwdriver to GENTLY pull up on it while you pull it apart with your hand that is not holding the screwdriver. If it doesn't come out, pull harder.
