Yes, I have searched. My issue is that the wiring on the stock front o2 sensor is damn near permanently attached in those clips on the exhaust manifold. The connector at the end of the wire is bolted on to something.

Removing the old sensor and wire is possible but what do I do about the old connector. Cut the wire and let it sit there?

Hopefully someone knows what I am saying. I can take photos if need be.

I can unplug the connector with no problem.

The connector on the end of the sensor wire is attached somehow. What it plugs into is dangling.

As for the routing of the wire, yes, its in the clips which should be no problem.

I just cut it off and let it stay there LOL. There is a bracket that holds it but its pretty hard to reach the bolt.

dude , just disconnect your o2 sensor put the new one in and your done. the second picture you have is how you should take the old 02 out, just screw the o2 and unplug the other end and your done. Its not attached to the motor it just holds on a clip just pull it off :) there is a small thing to press and the it just slides off like all the connectors

Why would you do that so you can pay satan 100 bucks for another wire? Dude take it to a mechanic if you can't even take off your o2 sensor it is not that hard, bend the clips back. Unplug it, and if the o2 sensor is stuck in the o2 housing take off the turbo and work with it I guarantee it will come out.

Let see, the new sensor has a wire. Why would I end up paying anyone. Removing the old unused connector is the issue. The connector is simply stuck on the metal clip and hard to grab a hold of.

Dude, like, whoa, like totally either read and understand the issue and be helpful or keep your mouth shut. You completely missed the point upon reading, and your reply here confirms how far off you were. Nice condescending tone though.

No shit, but this thread is not about the sensor or the housing.
