Removing cruise control....questions.

I called mitsu for a non-cruise cable and the guy told me to use my accelerator cable from my cruise control box. He said I can just re-route it back in and I would be able to eliminate the cruise control. Has anyone tried or did this?? I just need some feedback, so I know weitehr or not I should try doing this without buying a non-cruise cable.

That would not have worked on my 2G... so if they are similar, I doubt it. Just buy one here, $39.

The BEST(cheapest) thing to do is go down to a local junkyard and find a 1.8L eclipse and remove the throttle cable, they usualy only charge 10-15 bucks plus you dont have to wait for shipping
