i am selling my decently modified GST to my brother who doesnt need or want some of the upogrades i have done to it and i want to take some of them off and maybe get someoof my money back for them
mainly im taking my GM maf and translator off. and putting the hacked maf on. and i took the MBC but i forgot where the lines went. so its not boosting right. can someone please help. i havent messed with this car in a few months and i forgot. i think i have them mostly right. i have one going from the wastegate to the intake, but there is this little electric thing with two hoses when i had the mbc i had them both capped, so i dont know where they go now.
damn it im lost

You'll need the old hose too. It has a restrictor in it that allows the BCS to actually bleed off some of the pressure. Without it the BCS can't release enough air to effect the pressure.

Normally you have a hose running from the turbo outlet to the wastegate actuator with a tee in it . The hose off the tee runs to one side of the BCS and the other side of the BCS has a hose to the air can nipple. The restrictor is a little brass plug with a small hole in it that goes inside the hose from the turbo outlet. It limits how quickly air pressure gets into the other hoses and eventually the WGA. Since the BCS when open can let pressure out faster than the restrictor lets it in, the BCS can cause a drop in pressure in the hoses. Like I said without the restrictor the BCS can't vent enough pressure to keep up.
