I decided to refinish my extremely bitched up wheels today. I know I took the short route to do it, but I dont give two shits anymore and I'm not gonna pay a shop to rebend the wheels. I'm just gonna do it this way for now, save the money, and then buy the wheels that I actually want. But I'd like to know what you guys think of the work I did...

AFTER:
So heres how I did it. I sanded down the the lips as best as I could and got them as smooth as possible. Which isnt smooth at ALL because they were so ridiculously bitched up. BUT I did my best. So I sanded the lips on every wheel, sanded the spokes with 800 grit, and found a PERFECT paint match for the spokes. I love the grey that they are so I wanted to keep that color. But I wanted the lips cleaned up a bit. The only way I saw that happening was if I covered them up completely or somehow diverted people's eyes away from the lips on the wheels. So I did a bit of both. The spokes came out absolutely awesome, the chips of paint were filled awesomely and recovered really nicely. I then sprayed the lips with about 6 coats of METALCAST "candy red". Then sanded the lips again with a 2000 grit. Then clear coated them with an actual gravity gun. They came out really nicely I think. I still have 2 to finish tomorrow
. But I had to get home before too late and I wasnt gonna ride with 2 undone in the front and 2 done in the back. So I put the 2 finished ones on one side of the car and left the others on the opposite side. ANYWAYS! lemme know what you think
