As far as the scheme goes.... Everyone has there own thing. I say if you like it, go with it and it shouldn't matter what other people think. But if you aren't sure and are just getting opinions you will find out (and have) just how different everyones will be.

yeah i like it and planing on leaving it like that. I just wanted to post pic so other people can see what it looks like since a lot of people i know talked about it, but nobody ever seen it done.

As for the hatch.....i don't have $500 just laying around to go CF....the black hatch costed me all $20

i like it, but I think you should either continue down the back with a thick black stripe or paint hte rear of the hatch red to split the top and bottom of the car. As well you need to tint all the windows to create a good black/red split.

the sides are tinted already if u look.....back isn't just b/c i haven't gotten around tinting it yet.....

he he he no ....i bought the entire 98 hatch for $20 ......didn't do a thing to it just swapped it with the old hatch......now i gotta find a place to store the 95 hatch

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I think it looks good, nice work especially for the money. Forget ghey stripes and garbage like that. There are a few things I would consider doing to help complete the look. First off paint the tails black, I like the way it turned out on my car and would help transition the black hatch to the rest of the car. If you dont want to do that, consider painting the rear lip of the hatch red to match the car. Separate the black from the red right on the apex of the curve from the horizontal deck lid to the vertical lip. Maybe pick up some black wheels, and some black housing headlights. Once all that is done I believe you will be happier with the outcome. I sure was, check it out the tail lights. Go pick up some vht nightshade and masking tape/newspaper and go to town (leave the botom half red)
