Hey im new to the forum and I KNOW that there have been millions of posts about BOV recirculation and I read hundreds of them but I wanted to see if anyone had a sound clip of the difference between a BOV recirculating....and BOV venting. Is the sound of the recirculating half as loud as venting? Dont be too harsh ;)

It all depends on what set up you have. Stock pipes, Hard pipes. Different BOVs will sound different. Ofcourse venting is going to be much much louder then recirculating. I have all stock pipes, stock bov. Removed my air can and still can hear that little whoosh we all secretly love.

Your question is way too vague. Sound level depends on many different variables. Such as type of valve, amount of air it is moving, etc... And this question is hardly technical in any way. It's probably better off being locked just do it doesn't turn into a bi*** fest.

Venting is alot louder, but it's only recommended to do it correctly. IE: MAFT or MAP. Please don't modify your car with neat noises - think proper performance instead.
