Recirc bov

So recently installed the Injen intake. And I currently have the stock bypass valve venting to atmosphere. Basically my car runs REAL bad. My question is if I get a recirc bov where can I route the hosing into my intake?

I am assuming that the Injen intake does not have a provision for the recirculation tube.

Your best bet is to weld a 1-1.25 inch (outer diameter) pipe onto the intake so you have hook up the recirculation tube. The best part about picking this route is that you can relocate the provision for the recirculation anywhere on the intake to better suit where your BOV is located.

a picture of the intake would help a lot.

Doesn't it have a recirc inlet on the intake pipe? Most Injen's do.

Injen clearly has two designs:

You'll need to recirculate it back in pre turbo.

However it you want to run vented properly you'll either need to have a speed density setup or use a GM MAF in blow through (installed post BOV).

In my honest opinion though, you wasted money on that intake. Ebay has the same intake design for $50.

Then again when I bought my Intake in 2002, I made sure to read that "Venting" was bad, and the old school way was fixing that problem with an HKS VPC, and at the time 800 bucks.

So yeah they have 2 designs.

I am sure exchanging the part would be out of question since you have installed it. So basically, it was a waste of money. You could either weld a pipe to it like mentioned above if you have the capability to do so or buy the correct intake. I would try to sell this one and buy another intake.

I think we misread what he posted wrong. He said if he get's a recirc bov as if he doesn't have a bov that recirc...if that's the case just get a different bov and recirc back into the injen intake.
