Rebuilt head question?

Hello all, I have a rebuilt head with about 2000 miles on it that has been sitting in my garage waiting for me to finish the bottom end. my question is that since this head has been sitting for a while will the lifters need to be bled prior to start up, the cams have not been removed. just wondering since it has sit for several months.

I would take it apart and make sure its lubed well. Cams don't like to sit dry.

hopefully the head was sitting on a flat level surface. aluminum is soft enough to slightly warp if not siting right.

to answer your question. It is always good to pour some oil on top of the cams and the rest of the head. spin the cams with you hands a few times. that should be good enough. when you do install it i would suggest to unplug your coil pack and turn the engine over without starting it this will help coat the internals with some oil before starting.
