I just bought a 6 bolt block. i am getting it hot tanked and getting it borred out .20 over. know i am wandering what kind of internals to get i am looking for something that will hold up to any where between 350-400 hp. what should i do about my tranny it a 5 speed?

I have a 6 bolt .020 over with stock crank, ross pistons and eagle H beams and Ive been hgappy with it. I just got it tuned and made 453 to the wheels. I believe H beams have heald up to 700hp. They're not to badly priced either. what kind of pistons were you looking to put in.

I was wandering if the stock crank would hold that much power. I'm looking at at EAGLE RODS + WISECO PISTON COMBO

Yea the stock crank will hold a lot of power. I was looking at wiseco's too before I bought the the ross's. Don't really know why I chose that combo but thats how it worked out.

If you look around at people's profiles and read other build threads you will find that Wiseco pistons + Eagle rods is proven combination for safetly running 600 hp. The stock crank can handle that and more.

I have sc61 with a bigger exhaust wheel and the S cover. I was running pump gas at 27 psi. It feels great haha.
