I'm confused really.
Rebuild has 250miles on it, getting ready to change the oil yet again. but it seems "HOT" to me. 14b with stock fuel system for the 2g, boost gauge, egt gauge, apexi n1 exhaust with hacked stock downpipe (shop just weled a new flex section to 3inch etc its a mess under there but yeah).
Egt sits around 800 at idle , temp gauge sits right at the bottom of the symble and never moves. Evoscan is telling me 219 and never goes higher then that, but its just hot under the hood, i melted a 3inch section of wirelum (blue stuff at wallyworld) on my fan wires and the prob, but i think it melting on the prob was i went to close to it.
I dont have a heat sheld, but it just seems hot, open the hood and you got your self a oven or a nice hand warmer. Dont know if the FMIC is blocking air, as i made sure there was air coming from underneath.
I haven't a clue, been 3years out of it, get it running and at this point about to call it quits.
but if any of you have some insite, by all means, shoot them my way. Oh and before you ask, every thing is bran new, bottom end, head reworked, new waterpump, oilpump, tstat and tstat cap.
