rebuild head or relpace?

hey my name is daniel. i just bought a 1990 eagle talon turbo car. the car is completely stock. the previous owner broke the timing belt and then replaced it with it being off timing. with that being done it bent 8 of the valves. i have the head off and just wondering should i replace the whole head for the 265 ebay wants for one or should i rebuild it.

well I would personally rebuild it for the hands on experience. good knowledge to learn. and you can put any mods into the head when you rebuild it.

well depends on what your goals and budget are....

it will cost more than $265 to have your head rebuilt...

then the head will ned to be surfaced, DO NOT let the machine shop belt surface your head...

then the springs will need to be tested...

is the ebay head a reman? or just a used head? if used, you may want to still have the springs checked and new valve stem seals installed
