What are the similarities and differences between the design and structure of the front struts and springs versus the rear? I was installing air cylinders on my front end today of the eclipse show car. (Note the "show" term is used here to prevent rants and raves. Yes, I do have a TSi for speed.) It was a complete bi*** to do, and took an awefully long time. The spring compression is what really killed me since I couldnt' use the air gun, I had to use a wrench and hand crank them down.

Basically, what all has to be done for the rear? I'm starting on it tomorrow, and I'm hoping that a LOT less will be involved in removing the struts back there.....

front and rear are the same. rear has lower spring rate though.
