2G rear knuckle differences?

What about a conical spacer? Perhaps too much of a hassle to make but it might be an opportunity to branch out to the 3g market as well Bobby.

I already list it and sold one to a 3G chap. this was based on someone showing me their shock pin which match and that's why i said about i wonder when they swapped over. if they adjusted it in 2001 then they may not work so i will have to check into this more now and possibly remove them from sale to the 3G chassis until its re confirmed full on all years and versions

It looks like at least the first year of the 3rd Gen utilized the same knuckle as the 2g. As far as when they switched to a larger pin is anybody's guess but we know enough to skip the early 3g and concentrate on the later years.

E56A, EA3A and EA8A are a mid 90s to mid 2000s Galant so again I'd look at the later models.

Kudos,
Went to a local junk yard, 3 trips (definitely earned their 3 star rating) and $40 later I got what I needed, listed as a 2004 eclipse rear spindle.

the countersink was massive in the knuckle itself, I would think one of your custom parts would work for a late 3G guy, but you would have to use an oversize washer to be safe.

Glad it worked out. 👍
