Rear hatch gas lifters needed

HI All,

I'm in need of some rear gas lifters for my 1996 Eclipse and don't know what kind to get.

I've searched ebay and most seem to be for later models.

Firstly, Will lifters from any other car fit that i may be able to get here in the UK?

Secondly, I now have a heavier spoiler so can you get uprated ones to cope with the extra weight.

Can anyone give me a link to eBay with the correct one's i need?

I made this mistake of buying my hatch struts at Autozone for $70!! They have been installed for about 6-7 months and are already getting weaker.

+2 for Rock Auto. I bought the "Strong-Arm" ones and those things are awesome! 2+ years and it still feels like Hulk is opening my hatch every single time.
P.S. I too have the 2g High rise wing that weights down the hatch a lot.
