i have this crazy decel chatter in my rear diff that im trying to troubleshoot. It only happens when in gear and coasting. It goes away while braking. It also does not chatter when accelerating. So only when theres no load on it.

So far ive checked the fluid. still full on heavy shockproof. There is some slop in the rear end between the prop shaft and axles. also it is a vc lsd unit

How are you sure that it is your rear differential? It could be your rear axles, drive shaft, carrier bearings. Any of the stuff like that. Is it making the whole car vibrate?
