1G really bad camber wear???

i have really bad camber wear in the front on my 93 tsi (AWD). i was wondering do i have to buy a kit? or can i go get an alignment done.

oh, one more thing, my front suspension is shot, doesn't the extra weight of the shot coilover put weight on the tire which would make camber out of adjustment?

In my experience.. any worn suspension parts SEVERELY effect tire wire. I would fix the broken with after-market adjustable parts OR OEM parts

Example: I had worn lower and upper arms in the front and it made the rear tire rub.

I was thinking of buying a camber kit for the rear and when I fixed the front I found this out

You'll definitely want to fix the broken parts first. Then take it to a shop and get an alignment reading (some places offer this for free) to determine where your camber is. Get a kit if necessary, and take it to get aligned. Make sure your toe is set to zero as this is what really causes tire wire.

Incorrect toe is what nearly ALWAYS causes tire wear on their edges - not incorrect camber!
