As the title states: Which one and why? I see a LOT of people running RC injectors and a lot running FIC.
I dont want to spend an extra hundred for basically the same injectors. I know plenty about FIC 2150s but havent heard a lot about RC 2200s. Im still debating which to get. ID2000s are off the table btw. No need to recommend those

RCI also uses Bosch 2200cc injectors. We sell a ton of them!

I thought so. I thought all the big 3 2000 to 2200 cc injectors start off as Bosch's. Thank you.

Duh..... LOL, I thought you were RCI. Didnt even look at your sig. My bad. Im tired. Yea, ill hit ya up here pretty soon. Give ya a call once my list is filled out a bit more, i will need countless parts fo this build. Soon as i get my head and all necessary components for longblock assembly then i'll be looking in to injectors, fuel line, fittings etc.
Thanks bro!

Thought i'd add to this with a comment/question. I have recently read on an evo forum that RC injectors spray pattern is not nearly as good as the FIC. Can anyone corroborate this? I'm starting to lean towards FIC.

I have the RCI 2200s and I couldnt be more happy. 18-19 to the gallon on e85 and 500 hp at ~55IDC! Im not sure how the spray pattern is. But I do know that even low rpm use is amazing. Even better than my old 1000s. From what I've read they're basically the same as the fic units so why spend the extra 100 dollars. my .02

That was my original thoughts on the matter and thus why i posted this topic. I didnt see why i should spend an extra 100 or more for the same Bosch injector! Then i started digging around a little more.
Today is the big day, the head is going on and it gets leakdown tested before one more dime goes in this blackhole of a money pit I call a dsm LOL. Most likely, I will go with FIC though.
100 bucks? I can piss that away in 2 seconds so if i can get better injectors then i need to. Edit: See why, i guess, ID charges a little bit more. For the cap.

I purchased my FIC 2150's over 2 years ago with great results. I have ran gas and E85 with no part throttle or full throttle issues.

I had the low impedance 1650's before making the switch so it was worth every penny to me. I did get them on a slight sale but would pay full price if I needed another pair. They also offer their flow match data and great customer service. On another note, ECMlink now offers FIC injectors with flow match data using our ECU and have the best customer service I have dealt with to this day.

Thanks Robert. yes, i visited their site the other day and saw that. Im getting a package deal when i get all the parts together so i should have it knocked down to no more than 750 including delete plug and clips. Thats not bad at all.
