Rattling Exhaust

Recently I have noticed that my exhaust rattles at about 2000rpm. I have no idea why it does this because the exhaust has no visible holes. It also seems to do it more when it is colder. If anyone knows the problem please tell me.

I would check your heat sheilds or if the exhaust is touching any part of the frame under the car.

i had the same problem, just check the heatshields

i would bet on it being heat shields i have had to mess with mine several times.

i agree, heat shields...i had that prob on my cat when i bought it...i just wraped some wire around it and problem solved, (until the high flow goes in..)

MIne too! Heat shields! (actually it was the little rubber fitting that hangs the piece...)

If that didn't fix it there is the hanger right by the drivers side rear tire that rests on the exhaust sometimes.
