mine..only 2g nt 4g63 to turbo conversion on this board .. i win!

it even has a oil level sensor instaed of the coolant level sensor. LOL

Kind of forgot to mention that your 4g63 came in the car because it was euro spec, and that you turbo'd that. Not that it had a stock 420a NT motor in it.

But regardless its still a rare car.
 
I'd have to say the 1g eclipse/talons with no rear wiper and non-electric windows are up there as well. I had a blue 2g and they are definatly rare in turbo form.

+1 for this... My buddy just picked up a '91 Talon TSi AWD, no rear wiper, no cruise control, no power window/doors, no A/C, or no leather... The TSi's were supposed to be the "luxury" model, and I would think they all would come with at least power windows and doors... It's like this car was meant to be modded...
 
92 AWD Lasers are actually fairly common. The only “rare” ’92 cars, are the ones that come with a 7 bolt engines. They only put them in the last week or so of production when they ran out of 6 bolt motors.

So it always annoyed me when people ask if any ’92 DSM has 7 bolt engine… Yes it they are out there, but they are VERY rare!

I would put my vote toward ’98 AWD Talons. Chrysler wanted to kill-off Eagle brand back in ’97, but had to carry it for another year to satisfy their contract with Mitsu. So they ended-up buying the absolute minimum number of Talons that they had to. Talon was the only Eagle vehicle in ’98 and Jeep dealers HAD to reluctantly sell their minimal quota of Talons in order to keep getting Grand Cherokees and CJs.

I can verify this, When bought mine in the end of 97 as a 98 model year, the dealership had 1 green 1998 tsiawd and I told them that I wanted a white tsiawd. They said that was great we have a green one right here. No I really want a white with the white wheels (I know that was the only way they came) and they said that they are only getting this green one and if I didn't want it I would have to order one. And on top of that they also proceeded to tell me that I needed to put down at least $6000, because they were not going to get stuck with 2 of those things. So I did and got what I wanted.
 
Im just curious but nobody mentioned the silver 1ga dsms
 
We have a rare one as our racecar. A 1GB Talon AWD that's that plum color with tan leather interior and tan carpets. Everyone we've run into has said that's pretty rare. No sunroof, and the seats weren't powered. 5 speed.
 
Really? I just picked one up in February for dirt cheap! I didn't realize it was rare.

This is what I usto own. It was called "Holy Grail" of the DSM.s The lightest, strongest, rarest of them all.

AWD 4 bolt
5 speed
Turbo 6 bolt
28xx lbs i think.
 
I have a 94 Talon Tsi Turbo. Only about 5% of the Talon's made in 94 were turbo. That's is somewhat rare? :talon:
 
that is because it is half 94 and half 95 spllit years
So my little brother's 1990 Eclipse is rare because it was made in December of '89? I think not. Just because it was made in '94 in your case and '89 in mine doesn't make them anymore rare then one made in the model year, IMO.
But if others like to think so, well then hey, I've got a December of '89 Eclipse and if rarity adds value, would be looking to sell :sneaky:

We have one as well that's the same color as yours.....the eprom is now our DSMLink in the Talon however.
