random wire hanging from under car

there's some random wire hanging from under my car. I think it has something to do with the stock oil gauge as my oil gauge does not move at all anymore. It's from the front of the car. Here's a picture:

That looks exactly like the oil pressure sending wire. I know what it looks like very well, since mine falls off all the time.

On second look, yes, that's what it is. The sending unit is right there above where you are holding that wire. There is a round, flat nipple looking thing that that wire slides on over it until it clicks.

aaah i see..thanks. I was a little worried with a wire hanging from under my car.

Better slip it back on asap.. mine kept popping off and eventually got snagged on something and the wire was completely torn off.
