Random knock issue

Alright so heres the deal, last week out of nowhere i started noticed my knock gauge rising when getting into boost. (dsmchip with gauge conversion) I was running about 25psi with all supporting mods for probably a good 4 months and never had any issues with knock. They weird part is that the knock wouldn't be there all the time sometimes i would go into boost and it would be fine, other times it would knock like crazy. Sometimes if I go WOT it will be knock free for all of 1st then in second the gauge will max out. Other times The gauge will go crazy when only at about 5psi and 50% throttle.

So i Just changed the oil, plugs, wires, boost leak test, and still the problem is there. I also turned the boost down to 15, feels a lot better but still randomly the knock will go crazy. Im just pretty much trying to stay out of boost right now, but what else could it be? the Tune hasn't changed, nothing has changed just one day it all started? Mods in profile are current.

And I tried to take a log to see whats going on but my logger is being a pain right now and will not connect for the life of me

Hmm I am seeing a similar problem with my car, but I am getting some weird knock around 45-55 mph, in no boost in fifth gear, just kinda cruising on local roads. The knock seems random I do not know what to think of it, the weird thing is its never there under boost or in any other gear from what I can see. I drove about for 20 minutes took a log of the whole thing only time it happened was then about 8 counts, no more then 1 count anywhere else. IDK about either just kind of complaining.

Do you actually hear the knock or just relying on the gauge?

I am relying on DSMlink for the knock, I can not tell from noise I don't think I could tell the car is loud, exhaust and walboro humming, plus I do not know what knock is supposed to sound like. My guess is that something is falsely setting it off, but what do I know.

Start simple. Inspect the knock sensor.
