random check engine light with misfire

hey there just like title say i have a random misfire i hope anyways. I have only noticed it a few time now but i will be driving normal and all of sudden the car throws a code and feels like a misfire this happens for about 15seconds then disappears. knocksensor telling me something?

Possible but my knock sensor was bad on my car and would only show up at full boost over 3k rpm and even then it never threw a code. Not saying they are all like that but just saying. Have you had a chance to pull the code yet? I'd check the wires and make sure they haven't come off the coil pack and also the 02 sensor connections until we know exactly which code is being thrown.

does the check engine light have to be on for me to check pulses cause the light is only on for about 15 seconds and then issue stops
