Ramchargers MAFT install

Ok so I am install the GM MAFT I just bought, I found this http://vfaq.com/mods/wayback/gm2.htm VFAQ but it seems nothing like the unit in front of me. The MAFT has 1 plug for the stock MAS plug and one for the GMMAF. There is also a single white wire which the manual says is for a tach symbol, I am going to tap my CAS for that, there is also a purplish pink wire that is seperate from the rest, but not as long as the white one, the installation says nothing about this wire. What do I do?

1). White wire goes to CAS

2). The purple wire is aux, and can be left undone. Just bundle it up nicely and tuck it off somewhere.

This is for a 1G, so 2G may differ a little bit. Someone can correct me if Im wrong.

thats correct, but he has a 95, and the cas isnt so easy to tap.

I also need to tap the CAS for my Wideband commander so I think I am going to tap it and run a wire over to the passengers side and then split it off and use it for the WB and the MAFT, anyone see a problem with this?
