I went with one but can not comment on hp gain since I also added at the same time a feramic act w 2100 pressure plate, Xact flywheel, Dejon FMIC w/ short route piping. I have mine blow thru and use a Tial BOV, which can not be recirulated, so it must be vented, the translator help me fix the common problems with venting. There is a forum just for the translator, it is located at www.fullthrottletech.com alot of good knowledge and you can see some of the problems one might have when setting up or installing this unit. I do not think it is for everyone, it really depends on your setup, I am using it for overkill, since I have only a BT28 turbo.

If I were in your shoes, save you money and buy the basic stuff first, local DSMers could sell you older equipment and help you save on the cost, get a intake, BOV, IC piping and exhaust, Boost gauge, ect. There is a upgrade path at the home page here, follow it. It is the best and cheapest way to go fast reliably. Welcome to the DSM world
