GM maf translator

How exactly do you adjust the air fuel ratio with the GM maf translator. Has anybody had problems with tuning this way? I really am interested with this setup but it seems that a lot of people have problems tuning with this unit.

I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and my car is pretty much tuned the way I want it. With a datalogger and a little bit of patience, it's pretty simple. Just follow the instructions that comes with the translator and you'll be fine. It uses dials to tune different settings for base (the whole fuel curve), idle, mid and wot. Oh yeah, I've never tuned with anything before this so I coundn't say if it is easier or harder than anything else out there. Bottom line I'm happy with it.

cool. I am reallt leaning towards this setup and just hoping that getting it tuned is not to bad. Also I was wondering since I live in CA, can this setup be reversed back to the stock setup with out to much trouble?

oh yah, also when ever I see the translator for sale and I see a picture of it, I don't see any of the knobs for fuel tuning. Is their something else that you need to buy with the translator?

The knobs are inside of the translator box. You pop the cover off and have-at it.
