Trying to get the rear rollstop, and driver's side mounts lined up and its just pissing me off.

2 hours or so and they are both off by just a fraction of an inch.

The engine seems to pitch to far forward. Just needed to vent, if you've got tips on aligning these pitch em at me.

put the rear in first, then the transmission, front, and lastly the drivers mount. This way the difficult ones are done and it's easy to get at the front and drivers side with a pry bar to them in.

Thanks. Yeah I remember doing it Tranny, Back, front, driver's side last time and had zero issues aside from the tranny being a pita to get lined up with its mount. No difference this time. Looks like I will be pulling the front bolt back out and seeing if I can get the back lined up.

Agreed... This is the way I've done mine before too.

Any tips on how to get the rear rollstop lined up? I pulled out all the mount bolts, pulled the driver's side mount completely off so I have a good amount of wiggle room. I tryed hooking my lift chain atound the mount and jacking it up, but I can't get to actually go back.

Its now perfect aligned height wise but its about 1/8th of an inch to far forward still.

Use a center punch or something like it and a hammer and tap it into the hole since it's already lined up some. That'll force it backwards and into position. Then just pull your punch out and put your bolt in.

Allright thanks.

First time really working on a 2g. Lots more room under the hood than a 1ga. Not nearly as easy to line everything up as a csm. Plus not having a load level for my lift sucks. One I had broke after like 15 or so years of faithful service to my stepdad/me.

Boom, back one is lined up, bolt in, bit of struggling with front one but a little pry bar and it went straight in.

Looks like the engine will bolted back in tonight, tomorrow I gotta install the clutch slave, axels, flywheel dust cover, and start working on tucking the wires.
