radio volume issue

i am having a problem with my stock infinity radio, and have searched but to no avail.
if i have a cd in my head-unit, the volume is great and adjustable, but as soon as i hit the button for "am/fm", i can't hear anything. if i turn it up all the way, it is just barely audible
has anyone got any advice?
i KNOW that the volume button is not the problem
i have made sure that all wires are correct. and works great when i use a cd

well do you hear, the fm stations at all? or is it static? maybe your antena messed up

i hear them perfecty,at a low volume
