Ok so this seems like a bit of a strange issue and I'm wondering if my radio has just called it quits. I have the stock factory Infinity radio still and one day out of no where it just stopped working. It won't turn on but is still illuminated and the clock will be displayed sometimes and then sometimes it won't show up. Every now and then it will turn on and work fine out of the blue. Also I have one of those cassette adapters in it and it will not eject the tape but sounds like it tries to. It will accept a cd and eject it but that will not turn the system on either. One other strange thing it does is when it does decide to turn on and work I can only adjust the volume when it's playing the radio or a cd. The cassette adapter will work but the volume can not be turned up or down so I have to adjust it while playing the radio and then switch to the tape if that makes sense. I've checked all the fuses and the connection to the stock amp and all is ok with those. Just thought I would see if anyone ever experienced theses systems and or some opinions on what it could be. My gut is telling me the radio may just be dead.
Sounds like it's time for a new one.
