Radio Volume Issue

I have the stock infinity Radio about a month ago the volume dial stopped working. the volume it got stuck on is ok if the windows and sunroof are closed but i would still like to be able to control it. I like my radio and i dont want to replace it.

The volume dial feels like it is just rotating like maybe it broke off inside. If i open it would i be able to fix it or would i be wasting my time?

Has anyone ever taken it apart?

You would definitely be wasting your time. You can pick up a replacement OE radio for like $20.

Mine does the same thing, unless you turn it really fast. I know that sounds dumb, but turning it normally does nothing.

99gst is right though. I was just at the junk yard, and there were 3 stock radios in cars. not a hard find

Are the turbos the only one with the infinity radio or do they all have the same one?

There are a couple different Infinity radio options. 3 I believe.
