So. In the picture you see the drivers lower radiator mount has been cut off. After locations a replacement, I’m wondering what way would be best to do this repair.
1. Drill out all the tacs and remove the original, then tax the replacement into place?

2. Measure and cut the replacement, and weld it onto the existing mount?

What do you guys and gals think is best?

personally i would just clean up the nub you still have and put the replacement over it (assuming it fits). Put a couple tacks on the seam of cut edge and replacement. and then on the flange.

If your welding skills are as good as mine please have someone else do it.. Okay being serious I would drill out the spot welds and replace the whole bracket. That would bother the hell out of me knowing I had a hacked up rad mount.. I have stone chips and scratches that keep me awake at night . Can someone please sing Warm Kitty Soft Kitty to me ....
