i have an 1995 eclipse gst manual trans, i bought the car because of the way you can make these cars look , im really into fixing it but not for the racing type and thats where my friends , mechanics and everyone i talk to get me confused and never tell me what can be wrong with the car... if anyone in this forum can be able to help me this is my dilema, My car has a couple of problems such as a little bit of coolant leak, greyish whiteish smoke out of tailpipe ( because of turbo problems ) , two check engine lights on P0170 and P0120 , and Vacuum A is not even connected to any other hose on the car. Everyone i talk to tells me the car is trash to get rid of it too much money to fix but i dont want to do that , anyone knows how and where to start off with this car ? remember i just want it running smooth and simple no performance no racing nothing . thanks for anyone who can answer to this

well i did a combustion leak test from autozone , and it came out good also did the remove the radiator car and one spark plug wire out and no bubbles next i will do the compression test to see, but for now i still say its my tubro

I am not the best at giving advice on what to look foor (yet still learning), but I was in your posision when I first got my gst. Stick with it man you will love your car when you are done. My car the last owner just put in the wrong plugs and it caused major missing. But I am now in love even though I alwaysed loved DSM's. I did buy mine for racing though (auto cross). Dont be a HONDER ( honda owner).
