I know street racing is not allowed here, but this is being held on a privately owned road. The person that owns the Si has a rich family out in the country sort of, and there's a long straight strip they own. I'll be running the base model of a 2006 Eclipse. He's got 30hp on me, but I think I'll at least be able to keep up. What do you guys think?

I think you need to read the rules sir. Please take them into consideration before posting about Bench Racing. If you can delete this before the Mods get to it.

Get ready to have your ass handed to you. When you hear that VTEC say BYE BYE to first place:tease:

Racing is bad!!!!

Considering you just signed up this month, im sure you havent read the rules, but here we dont like to hear or see anything about bench racing.... so goodluck to you my friend, and enjoy loosing....!!!!!!! VOTE BAN!!!!!!!!!

P.S. - Everyone always say its on a "Closed Road" or "Private Road"

2006 Si Civic weighs 2877lbs
2006 Eclipse GT weighs 3545 (So lessen the weight a little going from a 6 cylinder to a 4 since you have the base model. )

This is going to be a horrible race not only does he have 30 more HP, but you weight ATLEAST 500 more lbs than what he does. Pray he doesn't know how to drive. Also, do this on a closed course. Not on some "lonely road".

Bench racing is asking whats going to happen in a race before you do it.

Someone asking who would win between car A and car B is bench racing.
