r&r fuel line now car wont idle

ok so I no longer own my dsm but my cousin does so anyway he took the fuel feed line off the fuel rail hooked it backup now the car wont idle for poo the engines shakes horribily from side to side as if the timing is off bad!!! Now I did hear a slight sqwealing coming from the timing belt area is it just a coincedence that he removd fuel lines hooked back up and the timing is now jaked like maybe the tensioner was going out?

Have you checked the o-rings around the injector bosses? I had a problem with my idle when i checked the fuel rail and it ended up being that the o-rings were worn out and leaking air into the cylinder.

If all he did was take off the fuel feed and put it back on, then your problem is going to lie else where and just so happened to occur after he did that. Is the fuel line crimped anywhere? Did he replace the fuel filter? Are the plugs plugged into the correct coil sockets?
