i say evo all they way! i love mine to death. w/ just a few mods, (3'' TBE, vishnu xede, k&n and bcs pull) these cars are just crazy. i walked a 3'' TBE and MBC equipped STi by about 2-1/2 cars and pulling. imho, ya might as well have a complete car (4 doors, fast, corners like hell and dependable) and have a nice low payment w/ that cash as a down.

Yeah thats what i need to do to it still, I have 3 other Gn's that my father owns so im very Familar with them. I need a 3400-3600 stall converter and a tranny lockup. I got the car for 9700. Which is amazing to say the least. On average if they are clean they go for 10-15 and a mint one can be from 15-20+. Ill post up some pics later of my old mans mint 87' if I get time. But yeah get a regal, they are amazing.

Do some research. I love dsm's but I have yet to meet a daily street driving dsm that is going to "walk" me, beat me maybe if its built to high hell but never walk. Dont worry I still love dsms but lifting the front tires is the best feeling ever.

yea i just bought that SRT-4 on firday i like it a lot and its pretty fast (faster than my GSX) thanks for all the imput guys. ill still probibly go on dsmtuners even though i dont have a dsm though

Before you use a big word like ignorant, maybe you should learn what it means first.

Where did I say they stopped making the SRT-4 because sales are low. I'm saying, there are 3 or 4 years of teh cars... how much aftermarket support do you think they will get? even if the new srt4s use the same engine, the layout will be different, the parts will need to be different. Think about it, how many Starion parts do you see out there compared to DSM and evolution?

DSMs are known as "unreliable" for the most part. Now I know this comes from people who really don't know what they're doing with them, however that is on a 7-16 year old car. the SRT4s are NEW! and yet they still break. all the time. The engine is decently strong, but the trans is shit, the non lsd axle is worse, plus your warranty is voided the day you put an aftermarket filter on. (holy crap and I thought Mitsu was bad)

I'm not going into this further, but let's just say I've worked on a couple, and know a guy that got his money back on one through the IL "lemon" laws. I would not TOUCH one of those with a ten foot pole, and if someone gave me one, I wouldn't sell it to anyone I've seen before. the SRT-4 (especially the 03, supposedly quite a few improvements since then) was a hack job of a car at best.

what??? SRT-4s have no known reliability problems. In fact they are just as reliable as a normal neon if left stock and maintained. I hate when people have an opinion about a car becuase the company made a bad one before. The SRT is a stout engine on a nice platform. LSD stock and will embarress a stock GSX. 300whp with less than $1000 and a 7 year warrenty. Think before you speak, use knowledge ot heresay. I own a SRT-4 and a 95 GST for reference. Get off yourDSM high horse and be open minded. In my opinion they look nice but a 99 Eclipse look better but dont take away from a good fast car.

Heres some pics of my new car! 2005 srt-4 with the sunroof and LSD. this car has been a blast to drive and gets really good gas mileage, i was getting 15-17 in my GSX now i get 22-27. Needs to be lowered ASAP . A lot faster than my GSX. Any of you DSMer's with SRT's know what springs are the best to install to get rid of the wheel gap? im probibly going to go with the Tien type S i just finished tinting all the windows 5% yesterday looks clean all black

Ok shep, you had to bring him up. he would walk, run, hit, stomp and poo on my hood. he doesnt count I could race him if I got a half track like the civic on pinks. Please sir I want no less then 30 cars. hahaha what a joke. Ohh and by the way I made my first pass in the car. On a 15psi rich tune for motor breakin on crummy street tires I ran a 12.87 at 113 with a 2.243 60ft. , Lets say I need to learn how to launch and build boost with my car, I bogged every launch horribly, however after the 60ft she got out of control sideways down half the track. Now I am going to put on my Micky street radials, my 26psi chip and my alky. I should be in low low 11's all day untill I get my new turbo, this one will be about maxxed and is only good for a low 11sec pass. Anywho I had fun just need to learn how to handle the car. By the way the car posted above the guy backed out on so I found a better one with a built motor, these passes were not with the above car, almost the same though.

wow awesome choice, i know im going to get some hate for this but i consider buck gn and the syclone/typhoon's to be serious upgrades from dsm. One of the only american cars i would own besides a lsl. Fantastic time for the 60'ft . Best of luck bud!
