On of the reasons I would never buy/own a 300zx is you have to buy 2 of everything.... It's rediculous. and the parts are just as if not more expensive individually than DSM parts.

I'd bet you could sell that car for well over 15$K if it really is as well done and clean as you claim.

Yeah the engine bay is unbelievably cramped I cant even fit my fingers on the sides of the motor, but luckly the turbos, pcvs, and the fuel lines have been replaced about 5000k ago. I found the recipt in the glove box for the turbos and some other misc. work at ultimate z and it was $4400, and another for about 900 for the rear tires, boostcontroller, oil change, and front brakes. The car has a few stupid problems like warped front rotors, t-tops leak, clutch springs chattering or somehting in that area, and valve covers are leaking. None of those problems really bother me and I dont see me doing the valve covers any time soon seeing that u have to tear apart the top half of the motor to get to it and the clutch is still grabbing pretty good so ill wait to fix whats in there. All around the car is running very well and im loving the handling and the top end the car has.

You'd be suprised how stock it looks under there. Since all the performance stuff is hiding, the only thing you see that gives it away is the EBC lines and most people don't know what they are looking for. It's a pretty sick sleeper.

Yup I agree all u can really see is the intake through the front grill and the EBC selnoid. Id take a pic but I got the camera at my work but ill just give ya a picture off the web with pretty much the same setup so you can really see how cramped the engine bay is...

I just sold my GSX yesterday and i don't know what car i want next im pretty sure i want a 2004-2005 SRT-4. what turned me away from the WRX is that they're slow as hell stock and have "glass transmissions" but they are AWD. I'm done with DSM's for now b\c i need to get a 4-door and can't afford 2 cars. my budget is 15-17k. also considering a BMW M3 like late 1990's.

Also the dsmer's who have SRT-4's or WRX's how do you like them compared to your DSM?

We absolutely love our WRX wagon; it's reliable, practical, and relatively peppy compared to similar offerings that we looked at. It's slow compared to our DSMs, but a few very basic upgrades will open it up a bit (exhaust, intake, reflash/tuning).

A word of caution, however: modding a WRX can generally only end in tears. If you're thinking this will EVER be a project car, perhaps a used Evo would be more up your alley?

i got $10,000 for it and i keep the exhuast (look in classifide) . its on its way to North Carolina, sold it too a dsmer

x2. VERY nice cars, practical, and they're luxurious. On a side note, I read in some magazine (can't quite remember which one) that you can make 'em just as fast as an STi if you do intake, exhaust, and headers.
