quick Throttle body question

It's for the IAC, the idle air control valve. That's a 4g63's throttle body.

Take a multimeter to the junk yard and go hunting. There are newer IACs that are all black plastic that are better than the original metal with tan plastic cover. They come out to be higher resistance and tend to fail less. The original IAC was so close in spec. brand new to frying the driver in the ECU. Mitsubishi used that IAC on MANY of their engines, so you don't need to look at just DSMs. The black IACs can also be found in Hyundais with Mitsubishin engines.
